In Fall 2016, San José State University in partnership with the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation, the City of San José and technical partners Intel, Microsoft, and Autodesk launched the Paseo Public Prototyping Challenge and Festival.
The Paseo Public Prototyping Challenge is designed to prototype solutions to social and environmental challenges in San José through student-focused multidisciplinary collaboration and technological innovation.
The Paseo Public Prototyping Festival will celebrate the culminating prototypes during an all-day indoor/ outdoor public arts, culture and technology festival held on the Paseo de San Antonio Plaza at the newly opened SJSU/ Hammer Theatre Center in downtown San José, CA on April 8th, 2017. The event is free and open to the public.
